MG2 is looking for a talented Marketing Specialist located in our Seattle office.

MG2 serves clients around the globe from four offices: Seattle, WA; Irvine, CA; Washington, DC and Shanghai.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will play an important part in the evolution of MG2’s brand, and will need to be a proactive and quick-learner, an enthusiastic team player and thrive in a creative environment. 

Working closely with market leaders, senior managers and the members of the marketing department, the person who succeeds in this role thoughtfully contributes to marketing and business development efforts in a variety of ways, including:

Responsibilities:

  • Performs either as project manager or in a supporting role in the coordination, writing, editing, development and quality assurance of qualifications packages, proposals and presentations. Collaborates closely with market leaders and marketing peers to develop strategic and thoughtful responses that reflect MG2’s brand.
  • Utilizes creative writing skills to develop persuasive and compelling marketing materials such as project stories, resumes, boilerplate and related collateral. Proactively maintains accurate and up to date content.
  • Leads or assists in leading the Pursuit Strategy Evaluation process with Principals.
  • Assists in lead tracking data management; makes recommendations and implements improvements to enhance the tracking system.
  • Researches target markets, potential clients and project opportunities.
  • Identifies strategic business development and networking opportunities and coordinates sponsorships for conferences and industry events.
  • Helps develop process and protocol improvements for the development of proposals and other marketing-related activities.
  • Collaborates with communications and graphic design peers on maintaining and updating market-specific content for the MG2 website and intranet.
  • Manages and coordinates project and staff photography for respective markets; uploads and organizes photography on our digital asset management system.
  • Attends and supports industry, client, office and philanthropic events as appropriate.
  • Leads and assists with additional special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the  A/E/C industry or for a professional services company
  • A self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Adept at cultivating strong relationships across the company
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task against deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe InDesign; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related degree
