MG2 is looking for a talented Learning & Development Consultant located in our Seattle office.

The Learning & Development Consultant position plays a key role in the creation and delivery of talent management services and solutions. It partners with the HR team and business leaders to assess the learning and development needs for employees and leaders, then works in collaboration to develop and deliver programs and workshops to support these needs and enhance MG2’s performance. This role has a heavy emphasis on creating curriculum and facilitating trainings and workshops.


  • In partnership with HR Manager, consults with business partners/leaders to diagnose business issues, complete needs assessments, and recommend solutions/best practices in the areas of leadership, team effectiveness, employee development, and employee engagement
  • Designs content for learning and development programs and is responsible for content delivery and execution, including virtual and instructor-led training
  • Effectively facilitates training programs, including management and leadership development programs, team building and effectiveness workshops, technical training, employee development workshops, etc.
  • Provides leadership coaching and 360 assessment facilitation
  • Contributes to HR projects, which may include programs/projects such as goal setting, performance management, employee engagement surveys, succession planning, organizational and leadership competencies, career paths, etc.
  • May support HR Manager as needed in areas of employee relations and organizational change

Required Experience/Skillsets:

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology, Education, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-10 years’ experience in HR, which includes at least two years’ experience in training/workshop facilitation
  • Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Outstanding communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Successful track record of delivering effective instructor-led training
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate to achieve results
  • Ability to create and sustain positive relationships with business partners, employees, and colleagues
  • Strong drive for excellent results
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, flexibility, and problem solving to daily tasks
  • Ability to work independently, solve straightforward problems, and seek guidance as needed
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
